Basic Duties

The Installer shall be responsible for satisfying the customers definition of value by providing the necessary services to deliver, mount, hook-up, test and implement all the components purchased by the customer.  Further the Installer shall provide the necessary support to assure the customers understanding of the implementation of our products and shall perform the necessary tasks to achieve the requisite level of such support. 


FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

HOURS: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Location: Sunbelt Gated Access Systems of Florida LLC

  • Responsibilities and Duties Include:

    • Inatallation of systems at the customer's location
    • Assist in the performance of repair and other service calls as needed and assigned
    • Timely completion of work orders, travel expense reports, and service department forms
    • Assist in the maintenance of the company's new product inventory, installation supplies and materials stock and maintain such personal installation and materials stock as may be necessary to the performance of the assigned tasks
    • The Installer is responsible for maintaining communications with the Installation Supervisor as well as the other managers, colleagues, and clerical staff

  • Things to Note

    • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach, lift, climb ladders and work overhead.
    • Travel is expected. Must be able to travel and stay overnight when needed.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to the elements throughout the year. Indoor work will be performed during extreme weather conditions when possible.

  • Qualifications Include:

    • High School Diploma Or GED.
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Ability to Work with Hand and Power Tools
    • Must be Able to Lift At Least Fifty (50) Pounds
